چکیده
ABSTRACT Using full disc synoptic maps of solar background magnetic field captured from the Wilcox Solar Observatory for 30 latitudinal bands cycles 21–24, principal components (PCs) or eigenvectors oscillations are obtained. The PCs shown to come in pairs assigned waves produced by dipole, quadruple, sextuple, and octuple sources. first pair is linked dipole with their summary curve revealing a reasonable fit averaged sunspot numbers 21–24. This verifies previous results confirms as additional proxy activity decreasing towards grand minimum 25–27. There also noticeable asymmetry distributions these showing an increased Northern hemisphere odd Southern even ones similar N–S asymmetries observed sunspots. second quadruple sources has 50${{\ \rm per\ cent}}$ smaller amplitudes than first, while correlates closely soft X-ray fluxes flares. Flare occurrences variations next two eigenvectors, sextuple components, periodicity about 2.75–3.1 yr Strong correlating flare skewed ones. Principal component analysis raises perspectives simultaneous prediction general flaring activity.

Deciphering solar magnetic activity: on grand minima in solar activity
The Sun provides the energy necessary to sustain our existence. While the Sun provides for us, it is also capable of taking away. The weather and climatic scales of solar evolution and the Sun-Earth connection are not wellunderstood. There has been tremendous progress in the century since the discovery of solar magnetism—magnetism that ultimately drives the electromagnetic, particulate, and eru...
متن کاملKamLAND, solar antineutrinos and their magnetic moment
We investigate the possibility of detecting solar antineutrinos with the KamLAND experiment. These antineutrinos are predicted by spin-flavor oscillations at a significant rate even if this mechanism is not the leading solution to the SNP. The recent evidence from SNO shows that a) the neutrino oscillates, only around 34% of the initial solar neutrinos arrive at the Earth as electron neutrinos ...
متن کاملRecycling of the Solar Corona’s Magnetic Field
Magnetic fields play a dominant role in the atmospheres of the Sun and other Sun-like stars. Outside sunspot regions, the photosphere of the so-called quiet Sun contains myriads of small-scale magnetic concentrations, with strengths ranging from the detection limit of ∼1016 Mx up to ∼ Mx. The tireless motion of these magnetic 20 3 # 10 flux concentrations, along with the continual appearance an...
